everywhere; when Ecuador produces some of the best coffee in the world. At our #cafe you will never ever be served instant coffee. Our coffee beans are cultivated by approximately 150 small scale farming families who make up a local coffee cooperative. The coffee is grown using organic bio-fertilizer under the shade of citrus, banana and other types of trees native to the area. The coffee is raised in a sustainable way often combining various fruit crops and raising of small livestock. The coffee beans are hand picked, open air dried, hand sorted and small batch roasted. Our coffee is served in individual french presses, so you will also have your coffee fresh and exactly how you like it. We serve medium roast, espresso blend and decaf. coffee. If you need an extra kick we have espresso, lattes, mocha lattes etc.

Part of our mission in moving to Ecuador was changing our lives by living tranquilo, healthier and being more conscious of our actions and how they effect others and our environment. That is why we are doing our best to source out vendors that align with our beliefs. We have recently began to substitute all white and brown sugar from our baking and are using #organic sugar cane made right here in Ecuador. Although we know sugar isn't the best for us, it is a reality that it is consumed every day. Compared to white Sugar, organic sugar cane has the full bodied taste of sugarcane and is much less processed, retaining a lot of the nutrients present in sugar cane. Unrefined sugar cane contains 17 amino acids, 11 minerals and 6 vitamins, including antioxidants. Whether this interests you or not just remember organic sugar cane is better for you then regular sugar.

We are creating flavours daily some more traditional like oreo or nutella but some are a bit more off the beaten path such as rose and chocolate or #guayusa (tea native to Ecuador).
